An HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing dispatcher assigns/plans, schedules, and routes service requests for our business. We are looking for an experienced dispatcher to join our team.

Job Summary:
The Dispatch Coordinator is an integral part of the organization, scheduling and dispatching workers, work crews, equipment and service vehicles to appropriate locations according to provided customer information. This is a full-time position and reports to the Dispatch Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to speak professionally and courteously to customers and fellow team
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations in a stressful, fast paced environment.
• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Maintain knowledge of all field technician whereabouts and well-being throughout the day.
• Respond promptly to customer service requests and assist with all customers’ questions and concerns.
• Work well in group problem solving situations, while contributing to building a positive team spirit.
• Requires good interpersonal skills to understand customers’ inquiries or complaints and deal effectively with people who may be worried, frustrated, or angry.
• Ability to learn quickly so they can acquire product/service knowledge to answer customers’ questions accurately.
• Flexibility is required; at any time may be asked to change or extend scheduled work hours according to the departments’ needs.
• Understanding, summer is the busiest time of the year and scheduling changes will be handled, if any, on a very limited basis at the discretion of senior management.

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience trade specific HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical *preferred but not required
• Understand business software – service titan
• Computer skills/Typing
